Born in Istanbul in 1989, M. Emre Birtane crowned his academic achievements at the German-language Anatolian High School with the Deutsches Sprachdiplom – Zweite Stufe (DSD II) diploma he received in 2007. The discipline and language skills he acquired at a young age played a critical role in international business collaborations in the following years.

While studying for his English-language bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Sakarya University, he specialized in solid modeling, technical drawing, and machining; through the language program he completed in Delaware, USA in 2009, he gained direct access to global engineering literature. His graduation project titled "Broaching Tool Design" became the first academic contribution to Teknovals' product development roadmap.

In 2010, he took an active role in the establishment process of Teknovals Limited, structuring production planning, customer relations, and foreign trade processes. During his master's studies in Manufacturing Engineering at Sakarya University, he gained field experience in defense and aerospace projects while working on the design of special cutting tools and thread and form rolling tools.

Since 2018, as a second-generation manager, he has strengthened the legacy he inherited with a process engineering approach and digital tracking systems. With the 7-axis CNC grinding investment commissioned in 2023, he advanced Teknovals' precision manufacturing capabilities; he aligned R&D-focused projects with global customers' competitive goals.

Today, as General Manager and Board Member at Teknovals, he continues to work on the modernization of production technologies, the development of young engineers, and the sustainable management of international partnerships.
